Who's Who at Riverside Porto?
Riverside Porto is a church that encourages the ministry of all believers and so the real Who's Who? would be too long for this web site. Our Leadership Team and any of our committed worshippers will be glad to make you welcome, to help you in any way and to serve you - when you visit us or even if you just want to call or email.
Our style of leadership is based on Ephesians 4, where Paul speaks of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors (Shepherds) and Teachers. Thus our Leadership Team is carefully selected to include each of those ministries - we believe that this gives balance and stability to the church under the control of the Holy Spirit.
The Leadership Team is renewed every year at our Annual General Members Meeting and currently consists of the following:

Carlos (Portuguese) and Ria (South African) live in Maia and have been part of our Leadership Team since it was first formed. They bring a prophetic influence - always seeking to understand the will of the Lord for the team and the church. Ria is also very practical and takes much of the church organisation under her care. Arménio (Portuguese) and Elizabeth (USA) are the newest members of the team. Because of their long service in a ministry to the sporting community, they are well integrated into the Portuguese church community and are able to bring much local wisdom and wise council. Arménio is a gifted and popular teacher in the church and they have a talent for evangelism. Contacts: to be advised |
