A church should be about people, and Riverside Porto is proud of the love and care that it shows to all its members, friends and visitors.  Here, in our church community, you will find true family, a genuinely warm welcome and time to share together before and after the meeting, with a drink and something to eat.  Since we started it has been our practice to offer food and fellowship at every Sinday meeting - so if you are visiting, please plan to stay for a meal afterwards.

Riverside Porto International Church is a truly international church which was started in 2004 as a missional initiative jointly between Riverside International Church in Cascais, near Lisbon, Portugal (www.riversideintchurch.com) and Christian Associates International, a church planting organisation based in the USA (www.christianassociates.org).   We also acknowledge the extensive support of the Porto based mission team of Grace Brethren International Missions, (www.gbim.org ) and of other local churches and believers.

While we proudly continue to support and be supported by these organisations on a day-to-day basis, Riverside Porto International Church is now  registered in Portugal as a “Pessoa Colectiva Religiosa” under the number 592 008 479.

The founding team are a British couple and the present leadership includes representatives of UK, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Portugal and the USA (see Who's Who? for more details).
