MEETINGS
Our church is our family and we love to meet together. Because of the holiday season, we tend to have less meetings in the summer, but please continue to check out the web site for specific details.
SUNDAY MEETINGS
We meet at Avenida Sacadura Cabral, 1642, Aguda every Sunday evening at 6:30. Typically the meeting lasts for around 90 minutes and everyone is invited to stay for a meal and fellowship together afterwards, which usually lasts until about 9:30.
You will feel a part of the Riverside family from the moment that you arrive, which may be any time after the doors open at 6 pm. You are invited to enjoy some light refreshment before the meeting starts at 6:30.

We believe that the bible is the Word of God for this generation, so studying it could be very important indeed. Somehow bible studies have got a bad name as being boring and irrelevant. At Riverside Porto we place a high value on our events being fun and our bible studies are lively discussions of real issues.
Bible Studies
- New bible study to start on Wednesday evenings as soon as the holiday season has finished. The first meeting will be on
Wednesday 1 September at 8pm at Aguda.
- Studies in other areas are possible if a demand exists - so please let us know!
English Language Discussion Group

We didn't know what to call this, but if English is not your first language, you want to improve it and you like a healthy debate over a glass of beer or wine - you need to be at Ali's home every Tuesday. Since this group started we have covered everything from 'life without limbs' to ´does science support the first two chapters of Genesis?' - sometimes with surprising results! Expect to have your English corrected as you get more and more involved.

Discipleship Classes
- Starting in September we will be running discipleship classes at various locations. We consider this is vital to the life of individual believers and of the church. Please let Bill know if you wish toattend so that we can put people together in convenient small groups.
