MEETINGS
Our church is our family and we love to meet together. Because of the holiday season, we tend to have less meetings in the summer, but please continue to check out the web site for specific details.
We meet at Avenida Sacadura Cabral, 1642, Aguda every Sunday evening at 6:30. Typically the meeting lasts for around 80 minutes and everyone is invited to stay for a meal and fellowship together afterwards, which usually lasts until about 9:30.
You will feel a part of the Riverside family from the moment that you arrive, which may be any time after the doors open at 6 pm. You are invited to enjoy some light refreshment before the meeting starts at 6:30.

Bible Studies
We believe that the bible is the Word of God for this generation, so studying it could be very important indeed. Somehow bible studies have got a bad name as being boring and irrelevant. At Riverside Porto we place a high value on our events being fun and our bible studies are lively discussions of real issues. Our present bible studies are held at the church on Wednesday evenings at 8pm and we are studying John's Gospel.
English Language Discussion Group

If English is not your first language (or even if it is) and you want to improve it while taking part in a healthy debate over a glass of beer, wine or juice - you need to be at Ali's home every Tuesday. Since this group started we have covered everything from 'life without limbs' to ´does science support the first two chapters of Genesis?' - sometimes with surprising results! You will probrbly not even notice your English being corrected as you become more and more involved.

Prayer Meetings
Each week members of the church meet to pray for the church, for the individuals and for any special needs and situations. At present one meeting is on Thursday morning in Gaia and another in Maia on Thursday evenings. Please ask for details.
Discipleship Classes
- We are not currently running our discipleship class, because we are teaching the subject in the main meeting most weeks. We consider this is vital to the life of individual believers and of the church, so please do consider becoming more than a believer - be a disciple.
