Being a Disciple

Jesus came and told His disciples,
"I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20 NLT)Discipleship does not just happen - it is taught and learned - and, like all learning, requires an effort from the disciple - and even discipline!
If you want to go deeper in the Christian life and become one of Jesus' willing servants and friends, then be prepared not just to listen to the messages, but also to put them into practice in your own life.
Riverside Porto commends and actively teaches discipleship for all believers. If you want to take part in our discipleship teaching, the 'Sermon on the Mount' is a good place to start. The messages are available as both podcasts and standard audio files. In the list below you may click on the titles to listen to the messages available so far, but please remember that discipleship is never complete.
